Thumb drive": Also known as "flash drive", "pen drive", USB drive".... small solid state storage device that connects to a computer or other device via a USB port.

Yes if you are on the internet then there is a router somewhere in your network. Either built into the modem provided by your ISP or as a separate device connected to the ISP's modem.

What you really need to do is try to follow around the wires and find everthing that is connected to your network. Look at each device you find and see if you can identify what it is. Or at least get the make and model. Keep track of what is connected to what. Draw a picture.

That information will help narrow down and perhaps identify the unknown device.

May not actually be a desktop or even a computer. Not at all uncommon for the icon to be incorrect.

You say you do not have a router - how are you connecting to a network and internet?

What other devices do you have on your network? Any thumb drives anywhere? Any external hard drives, gaming devices, etc.

The RO8R1M2 could be a model or part number.....
