Should I buy a pc now, or wait for the 1070 and 1080?

The price of the 970/980 will go down but I don't see that affecting the price of commercially built PCs. If however you were to build one and chose the 970 as your graphic solution I would wait for a month or two because retailers want to reduce their stock of those older cards.

With the 1080 being out, and the 1080 custom cards being RIGHT around the corner, it's no contest.
Wait for either the 1080 custom cards, the 1070, or the 1070 custom cards if you're feeling extra patient.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The preorders and actual sales sell out very quickly. So if you want anything asap, be sure to be up date with the release times.
PS: I highly recommend getting a custom card, as they are better than the founders card in every way, while also being cheaper.

how about you dont lie or at least get info from a reputable source before posting false information. no it will not be close to beating the 1080

if you have a recycled pc store near you you can get a used fans a used case used ddr3 ram and a used hard drives (GET TWO in case one dies) this would total around 20$ personaly i would go for a new hard drive unless your budget decides for you
also look on ebay for used last gen hardwere
