Ok guys my laptop battery had been dead for quite sometime and i was using it as a desktop. In the process i updated from 8.1 to win 10 everything was working great but after replacing the battery yesterday. The laptop wont detect the battery. I mean it dosent start without the charger but if i remove the charger midway through use its fine. And secondly my computer says cannot connect to network. I have tried reinstalling the driver updating, disabling tcip 6 everything and for battery the win says no battery detected.
I am using a Toshiba Satellite c 55 b0568 and my driver is atheros x946 any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

That would have been helpful to know there was damage and it was repaired LOL Have the shop look at...
If you bought a cheap Chinese battery, get a better quality one.
Need more details about the wireless, did it work fine before you added the battery? Does it work again if you remove the battery? Does it show you the wireless networks? If you try to connect what exactly happens?

No the battery is original with toshiba logo on it. Wifi has stunned me too when i bought the laptop my connection was always limited till upgrading the driver. I dont know whenever i try it says enter security code and then i do it loads and then says cant connect to network. This problem has been occuring since the battery. I tried to upgrade the bios today. Still nothinv

If it's an official Toshiba battery, it may be an issue with the motherboard or battery connection area at least. Did you try rebooting the router? Does it connect to any WiFi signal? Did you check with Toshiba support? That is a pretty new laptop is it in warranty?

No sadly its warranty period is over. Also I forgot to mention one thing after i powered it on for the first time after replacement of battery and a bit of damage. Shortly i gave it to another comp shop for repair the wifi was connected to for 1 hour or so after i reinstalled atheros 956x driver. But soon it stopped connecting and now cant seem to connect

That would have been helpful to know there was damage and it was repaired LOL Have the shop look at it again to see what may be wrong, this changed pretty much everything now that you say the system was damaged. Connections could be lose, something maybe broken, etc...
