I recently upgraded from 8 gb to 16 gb of RAM and as soon as I put the ram sticks into my pc and turned it on, my pc booted up fine, but it said I didnt have a network connection and I coulnt sign into one, also, when I attempted to sign into my pc, it game me this error: The gpsvc service failed to sign-in. The universal unique identifier (UUID) type is not supported. The RAM I purchased is the exact same as the ones I bought when building my pc (G.Skill RIPJAW X 2x4gb) I have the Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 motherboard. My pc was working amazingly untill I put in the RAM.

Solution
Might try resetting the CMOS, start with one set of DRAM, set it to spec, then raise the DRAM voltage + 0.06 and set the CPU/NB voltage to 1.25 ---- see if they DRAM will all play nice then, there's no guarantees when mixing packages of DRAM - even if the same exact model - you can get all kinds of weird things happen

Thanks for your help with this, I actually managed to fix my problem by reinstalling windows, as I had nothing important on my PC that couldn't be reinstalled. Again, thanks for such a detailed and quick reply and I hope anyone who gets this problem will benefit from your response, although I still don't know what the cause of this problem was.:)
