That is the current build I am going for, but before I dedicate to it I wanted to know some external opinions on it.

Im not really going for 2k or 4k Mainly b/c I dont know enough about it, or how to go about it.

Also I am completly on the fence about the Graphics Card, I want to run everything I find on ultra, that is a simple task on paper but Im not sure if the build I linked could do it.

You should get the latest GTX 1080, especially if you will game on multimonitor, as it has both the power nad new features made specially for multi-mon gaming.

I've also ammended you build here and there wuth better parts or cheaper one that do the same as you had and just as reliably.

If you game at 1080p/60 Hz (?) then the 980 Ti is overkill... even at max settings. My 980 is too. But it does leave you with an upgrade path to 2K and faster refresh than 60 Hz. But the "paper launch"* of the 1080 might mean that the 1070 is nearly ready for release. And maybe the down-class cards as well.

* I know it wasn't technically a paper launch, but it might as well have been. Can't even order one direct from Nvidia as I write this.

OP is getting 3 identical 1080p monitors... tehre are indeed cases where a gtx 1080 might not be overkill for 1080p gaming :)))

I mean the most im willing to spend is 3.5k so should I just go for a higher resolution?

This monitor wipes the floor with any experience you would have had on those cheap s***y monitors.
It's kind of the best monitor ever made.
Oh, and i just noticed: what was wiht the Win 7? Forget about that: 10 is teh way to go.

With the resolution that, that monitor is using I dont know if I could Run my games on ultra, Ive seen benchmarks of the graphics card in question and some games at 1440 it can only really hit medium- to high

The GTX 1080 i put in the build will run everything you throw at it on ultra in 1440p. Granted, this is more resolution than 16:9 1440p but G-Sync comes into play and compensates for some lower framerates.
Believe me, if i had 1.2k to spare these days, that monitor is where it'd go.

I think it is. But the best thing would be for you to find one of those x34s in a store and check it out first hand. It's a considerable investment. You should see it first hand first. :)

Ok, I've made ajustments to my build, hopefuly this can run on whatever my hearts desire on full ultra.
