For the past year I've had trouble with my internet connection. I'm on a vdsl connection with 28 downlink and 1 uplink. A few times a month when I play I'll loose connection to the game servers in the middle of a game. I can go and watch youtube or surf in general but I still won't be able to establish a connrction with game servers. It's not for a specific one so when it happens the problem occurs on all of them at the same time. Usually it takes 30-60 minutes before I can connect to any server again. Restarting router doesnt help, flushing dns doesnt help, restarting pc doesnt help. I have tried disabling my av and firewalls but that doesnt help either.
Any ideas?

If some sites work but not all it could be that your ISP lost their connection to one or more other ISP. You could compare things like trace route when it work to when it doesn't. Still if that is the case it might be interesting information to know but it will not get it fixed. Then again it could be the game itself. You will have to do more investigations and see if you for example ping the game servers when the game refuses to run.
