Im looking to upgrade my gtx 660 to either the gtx 1080/1070 and im just wondering if my pc can handle it or if its gonna cause any bottleneck?

if you game at 4K, then there should be no issues, at 1440p? some throttling may occur, at 1080p, that chip will not keep up well. ( it will still play games at 60 FPS or higher, but the GPU will be held back.) sadly your motherboard is not meant for overclocking, so it looks like you would want to game at at least 1440p, or get a 1070. even then I would still go 1440p.

well you see, at 4K you might want a 1080. it can max many games, the 1070 is around as good as a 980ti. if you are going to spend the money on 4K I would go for a 1080.
