if u refer to this benchmarking, then the price to performance difference is very significant...
http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-960-vs-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti
while thr might not be a huge difference in performance between the two, thr are a few difference in features though...the most noteworthy is that the gtx 960 is SLI card...
but as far as i can perceive, u might not be planning to run sli, not with that config...
if u r looking for suggestion...then theres not much difference between the two card to choose from other than price and a limited performance increase...either one is gud...

So which will give me good experience.
if both are quite equal then i will go for cheap one. 750ti 2gb

thanks a lot Hellfire13
then i will go for 750ti
i have 1 more question
do you think that this graphics hard will able to run hitman 6 (himan agent 47 not code name 47) in lowest settings.

i m having some problem in buying zotac geforce gtx 750ti because in online shopping like amazon.in, snapdeal, flipkart it says ddr5 or gddr5. for which one should i go?

u cud not have cum across ddr5...it must have been either ddr3 or gddr5...there is no ddr5 yet...only upto ddr4 is there...and a graphics card will always feature gddr5 or gddr3 as gddr stands for graphics double data rate...
let me narrow down this for u...pick between these 2...the second one comes with a higher base clock and boost clock, which means slightly better performance...

Fractionally different in performance ???
No mate , there's a truly huge difference in performance ,the 960 is a far far stronger card & if you value running anything past medium settings & above 40fps then the 960 should be your only choice.

GTX 960 beats a GTX 760, which in turn gets like 5-10 FPS difference. Fraction? I say otherwise. So does madmatt.

the difference plays out more with better all round specs from my experience...tht cpu might hold back the 960 from its full potential than a i5 k series or i7 for that mater...
my observation was based on his all round specs...
if u take the graphics card alone, then ofcourse 960 is way better...but the complimentary hardware has to be equally gud to give u the max out...
i m running a 750ti on one of my machines with a i5 lynnfield and i can play most games on high settings...

On an i3 4130 + GTX 960, and I can assure you that there is abosultely no problem. I can max out the GPU witb ease; it's still a world away from the 750 Tis that most of the other gaming PCs where I live have. Sure, there is a bit of micro stuttering in physics based games like BeamNG, but still overall the 960 does a might good job. Skylake i3s being faster will only sweeten the deal. Plus, when OP decides to upgrade later, he will have to replace both the CPU and GPU. If he gets the 960, he only has to upgrade the CPU to get better performance.

Please do your research before posting. There are multiple threads on multiple forums showing that an i3 performs well with a 960. I won't bother to link them; I know because I did copious amounts of research before buying mine.

u might be right, but research and practice are different...i am also basing my argument on what i have seen...and not read...
i work in an IT firm where i see these stuff daily...i am not going to go into details of that...but my point is...when pitted together, they are gud in their own terms...but since op is from the same place that i am, the relative price difference pinches the pocket...
if he goes for a 960 today, he will pay the same price that he might have to pay for a GTX 1060 or 1050 for that mater which will be coming out later this year...and there is ahuge difference of price here, in this part of the world...

You don't need to tell me. I live right below you in Sri Lanka, where prices are the same. My point still stands; OP said he can afford the 960. Yes, it's an expensive investment in this part of the world but the extra performance afforded by it will pay out in the long term. In 2 years, you'll still be able to play games on decent settings with the 960; the 750 Ti, not so much. It's a question of longevity; For the extra Rs 4000 he spends, he'll get a much better experience now and a few years down the line will still be able to play games.

I'm not going to continue this pointless argument. OP has the facts now; it's up to him to make a decision.

yes...he shd make the choice...and one more suggestion i wud let him ponder is...
instead of paying for 960 wait a bit for 1050/1060 to come out...and pay the same or less than 960 to get much better performance in that range...
and...thanks to all u guys for engaging in this conversation...it was really consuming :)

I would not wait for the 1050/1060, they have not yet been announced, and for all we know may not even be showing up until the end of the year. Too far away if he wants a PC near now....
