Can i use a single 6 pin connector for gpu that using 2x6 pin connector ?

i just bought used HD6950 that use 2x6 pin , and my psu just only have one 6 pin. Can i just use only ONE cable ? Tq

2x6pins connector mean 2x75Watts . So it 150 power consumption. I'm about to buy Sapphire HD 7870 that need 150W (2x6pins) . It come with only single molex to 6 pins apdater and my PSU have no any 6pin connector. (Thermaltake Xaser 3 Silent Purepower 480W).So will it run at least 70% good ? Because RX 480 need 150W but it need only 6pin connector.

I am pretty sure it will not work. Your GPU won't have enough power to run so it should not work at all.
You can try, and if it works I would still not recommend it, because your GPU will probably turn off on its own when it will be used by the system (not idling). You need to change your PSU to have the correct cables and power wattage.
