This is my first time building a computer, I got a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P for the motherboard and when i was installing the CPU i tried to pull off this plastic piece that i thought was a protective cover that I thought it would have, it snapped in half and I pulled the rest of it off. Turns out its the mechanism with the lever. So my question is can I still use this motherboard or do I have to replace it, or rather will my CPU still work even without the plastic lever holder?
