Hi
I am going to assemble a new PC. I will primarily use it for hardcore gaming, watching movies etc.
I have narrowed down my search for the main components to these:
-----------------------------------
motherboard - gigabyte g1 gaming ga-z170x
ram - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Single DDR4
graphics card - gtx 1070(when it releases)
processor - i5 6600k
monitor - BenQ XL2411Z (just in case)
case - corsair vengeance c70
power supply - corsair rm750x

I would like to know whether this build is good and whether all these components are
supported by my chosen motherboard. Am kind of a noob when it comes down to things like this.
So please help, any suggestion/reply is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for responding so quick .I did not know that the 6600k does not include a cooler along with it .Thanx for that info and also about the memory. I hopefully will get the 16 gb one like u mentioned, can you just tell me how good my proposed rig is and whether its future proof (atleast 4 years) and one more thing do you think that I can go for the gtx 970, is it good enough or shud i just get the gtx 1070.

Once again thanx.

Your processor should last at least 4 years probably more like 5 or 6 with future overclocking.
For the video card the 1070 would be your best bet if you can even get one the 1080's were gone the same time they were released.
With either card you can expect to make one upgrade during the life of the PC.
