pc isnt starting up

hi there . my issue is my pc isn't starting up , when i turn on power supply a green light shows up on motherboard but when i press on button nothing happens , i tasted my psu and its working , i also detached cabinets power wire from motherboard and tried to turn on pc manually , again no response . i also detached all rams ,hard disks and gpu still nothing ! is my motherboard dead ? or there is something else wrong , please help

its been working for a year now with no problem .. i just replaced 450wt psu with 620 one .. last time pc was on i was playing game and lights went out but my pc is backed up with ups so it dint shut down or anything so i closed the game and shut it down as usual .. but since then its not starting

So it stopped working just after you changed out the PSU?

tried all theses things alrady but pc dosent starts no lights no fans .. just the green light on motherboard ... but if i disconnect motherboard power supply and start psu manually using pin everything starts

nope ... my pcs isnt starting at all ... bios setting and windows are things to worry when my pc will start .. i might have confused you with saying everything starts .. starts means just fans starts to spin and lights show of

Okay, seen as you have tried different PSUs and none of the other steps have worked. I would be inclined to say that the motherboard is no longer working.
Do you have anything else you could try the CPU from your current motherboard in?

nope .. i have to get it to the service centre .. i had my suspicion about motherboard thx for clarifying it .
