What driver i should to download for this:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A13A&SUBSYS_1C3A1458&REV_31

8086 is Intel and A13A doesn't show up in www.pcidatabase.com so it's likely that driver fell of the planet years ago.

A simple communications controller was a long way of describing a MODEM which we stopped using when dialup Internet went out of use.

If you were only looking in Device Manager and noticed a red mark, forget it - the device is out of date.

This is a common problem with Intel motherboards. Sometimes, for some reason, this driver will not install with the rest of the chipset drivers. You need to find the Intel Engine Management driver set for your particular motherboard.
