Hello,

I am building a new PC and want to use an M.2 SSD. This is the motherboard I will be using, and This is the SSD. I have never used M.2 and it looks like there are a variety of connector types. In short, are these products compatible, and are there better/more affordable ones i could use instead?

Also, I want to know what wattage I need for my build. I will be using a 6700k with a single GTX 1080.

Thanks.

Solution
A m.2 drive will decrease your boot time 0.2 seconds.
Like I said unless your transfering a lot of files their 100% not worth the price increase.

http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator this page lets you calculate the needed output per voltage rail for a given build, good PSUs specify how much they can output in the 3.3v, 5v and 12v rails.
