Hello, It depends on you budget. I personally choose seasonic. GTX 960 requires a 450W PSU. I would suggest getting some thing like these 2,

Seasonic G550M 550W
SeaSonic S12G 550W

Both have the 80+ Gold standard and would give you some space for overclocking as well.

I couldn't find the exact Motherboard since there were multiple revisions. Don't worry the revision 1.0 had PCIE 2.0 so you'd be fine. But PCIE 2.0 is little less in performance. And please post a link to your motherboard's web page so we can be certain.

But your cpu might bottleneck the GTX 960. You will definitely feel that when playing CPU intensive games. Are you planning a upgrade? Look at this thread https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/512305-amd-a8-7650k-bottleneck-a-gtx-960-4g/

Honestly your best bet there is this:

As well don't waste your time researching dual graphics, it sucks and the GTX 960 will blow it away with far less problems.

As for AMD having less driver support that is hyperbole and not true. You can get an AMD card and do just as well, the equivalent to the GTX 960 would be the R9 380 which outperforms it. That said if you do go R9 380 you need to definitely get the PSU I suggested as good power is very important with it.

If you get the GTX 960 and you are on a very strict budget this PSU will work:

Its a bare minimum recommendation, it will get you by.

a REALLY GOOD 400w could run it, but recommended is 450-500w. That said I looked through that whole site, most of their lower end PSUs are junk. That XFX XT I linked is the only one that is sort of ok.

I edited the Last reply. Don't try dual graphics. Trust me it's a super hassle. I have AMD (R9 270X to be specific) and would suggest it to no one. Plus most games are optimized to Nvidia. If you go with AMD you might have to use third party softwares like RadeonPro. Nvidia does supply those. You can take your decision here.

I checked through Nova Tech. GTX 960 requires 450w PSU. This one have enough space for a little overclocking as well. http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/powersupplies/451wto650w/220-g2-0550-y3.html

Too bad they don't have Seasonic which is my favourite XD

And A8 6600k would cause a little bottleneck overall. But take your time to upgrade the CPU.

RadeonPro has been dead for 3 years, the guy who worked on it works for AMD now. AMD releases beta driver updates every week or two to cover new games. Most games are NOT specifically optimized for either chipset, in fact theres a lot of distribution there. I'm sorry you had issues with yours, but don't discount a whole brand when you don't have all the information.

I suggest the same PSU above as well, its the best quality one by far in terms of the lower power units.
