I am looking at building a gaming PC with time to time video editing nothing advanced just gopro movies. I dont want to spend over $2000. I have configured a system on pcpartpicker. I was hoping to get some advice on changes or upgrades if anyone sees any issues. I am worried about heat issues. I live in California and its fairly hot here in the summers. Here is my current list of parts. I do not need monitors.

Really good,
but I'd change a SSD for a 2TB 7200rpm HDD so you get room for your storage (Like a Seagate Barracuda).
Thus, you can get a M2 samsung 850 ssd instead, but it is not really necessary. (You only get more bandwidth)
Finally, you can get cheaper RAM, like Ripjaws V 3200mhz (mhz doesnt really adds more performances in real-world usage). Also, dual channel is as effective as quad, so you could buy 2 stick and have room to upgrade late.

Cheers,
Nick

I saw the water cooling blocks from Phanteks for the 1080 but wasnt sure if i should change the build up to a full water cooling system. Im not very versed in water cooling do you have any suggestions for water cooling the CPU as well as the Vid card? I have seen many water cooling systems online. I have read thru the water cooling sticky http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/277130-29-read-first-watercooling-sticky. There is so much in there that I dont understand.

Well, you would need a custom loop, wich is very pricey and wouldnt recommand for a first build. Id wait for something like this if I was you : https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-O8G-GAMING/

Yeah I agree, I would stay away from liquid cooling if this is your first time building.
