What CPU? Do you have the latest BIOS? Would want the latest, your mobo defaults to 1066 and will try and set the DRAM to that, most 2400 DRAM has a base default of 1333 so it may be problematic. Also the mobo will default it to sloppy timings so may have to set the sticks manually. Only way to know for sure is to try it ;) If problems setting up, give a shout
It will work fine.

Your memory has different "profiles" and will use one of the lower ones automatically, or you can adjust everything manually.

*Your manual states that with an "FX" CPU you should get up to 1866MHz without overclocking. It might not default to that (may default to lowest, 1333MHz). There should be something similar to Intel's "XMP" which assigns the optimal memory profile for your setup.

You should have different options, and it depends if you overclock the CPU or not, however I would first do THIS:

1) insert memory (see motherboard manual for correct slots if not using all slots)
2) use default CPU/memory settings
3) run Memtest86 www.memtest86.com

Create that on USB or DVD, then run for a full pass at default settings (about 30min or so for 8GB).

Then you can look into optimizing the settings for the CPU and memory if need be. If you don't overclock the CPU, and the memory is 1333MHz then look for the setting that optimizes the memory profile (then should go to 1866MHz).

REPEAT Memtest86 for a full pass when you change the memory settings.
