Hello! I'm looking to change my PC case, to accommodate a future purchase of a GTX 1070. I've replaced my graphics card once (from a 625m, to a 770), and I've replaced my PSU (450, to an 850). In doing so, I noticed my PC case was VERY tight, and the airflow is almost nonexistent.

My PC was purchased stock. The Model is an M51AC (https://www.asus.com/us/Tower-PCs/M51AC/). I searched for the type of case I'd need, and apparently it is an ATX/Micro-ATX case.

So here are my questions...

1.) Is replacing a PC case difficult? Geek Squad wanted $200 to do it, of which I think is... yea/
2.) Can I purchase any micro-ATX case without much hassle? My budget for it is around $120

Changing out a case, is not very difficult, but can be time consuming, if you want to get the cable management right, so airflow isn't horribly restricted. It looks like you can add a front fan, to your existing case, just as an FYI. A good aftermarket case, will flow better. You can do ATX, or M-ATX case, with a M-ATX board. This case would work for you. It has a good amount of airflow, and isn't huge.

Ahh thank you for your help and suggestion! The person I had help with placing my GPU, noted that I had no room for my Fan that I had purchased (120mm).

The current stock case I have, has 10 USB Ports: 4 on the front - 2 being 3.0; 6 on the back - 4 being 3.0. Would that hinder my search options at all? I purchased this PC as a multimedia PC, but my needs have devolved to Gaming.

I'm searching for cases now, but it's a bit hard to note one with 10 USB ports. To be fair, I'm only using 4 of them (A Gaming Controller, Keyboard, Mouse, and Printer), but the options to add more is nice.

Oh right, I'm dumb. You replace the case, not the I/O panel. Then I shall search for an option with 4 front USB ports :D
