Hi. I built my pc a couple of weeks ago, after i finally installed my os and raised the screen resolution to 1080 i thought everything was going well. But then it started to shut down after a couple minutes after booting up. Its my first build so I am fairly unexperienced with troubleshooting. I called the tech support multiple times and everything they said was fairly unhelpful. I am pretty sure it is a bad video card but since i am unexperienced i would like to get another opinion on it.

MSI z97 pc mate mobo
MSI r9 390
western blue one terabyte hd
8 gb of hyper x ddr3 1600mb ram
evga supernova 850 watt psu
