Ok, here is my issue. My friend gave me one of those new Wraith Heatsinks that AMD came out with recently. The problem with this is that the mounting brackets broke on me and I have no idea what I'm actually looking for... The mounting that came with my motherboard looked just like this:
But when I try to search for a new one I get resaults like this:
That one kind of threw me off since it's octagonal in shape.
My question is.. To get the Wraith Heatsink attached to my Motherboard... what exactly should I get? Will they both do the same thing? Are those two mounting brackets completely different from eachother?
I'm totally confused so hopefully you can help
