Hello all! So I've installed the HD7970 but the computer won't detect it. My monitor just keeps on switching to analog/digital which is searching for a valid video device.

I've re-flashed the BIOS but still gave me the same issue. Is there a compatibility issue between the Gigabyte GA-G41M combo and my Sapphire Radeon HD 7970? Thanks.

If it's used, first thing I'd suspect is a bad card.

Your power supply is excellent so should not be any issues there.

If you can find a second system to test the card in will help to narrow things down, just make sure it also has a power supply good enough for the card.
Need some more details. This a new card or used? What is the power supply brand and model? What card did you have before this one, did that one work fine before you replaced it? Did you do a BIOS update for the motherboard before installing the card? All power plugged in the card?
