I have a problems with fairly new rig (4-6 months old)
Post is getting terribly slow, no peripherials are powered on till the 'beep', which happens 5 seconds after powering on machine. Bios itsellf loads slow as well. OS boots in about 3 sec whic is pretty frustrating.
Adding insult to injury yesterday I've installed Ubuntu info second drive and now mobo does not see any drives except the one ive installed ubunto onto. (got 2x hdd, 2x ssd). I boot to windows only by f12 on bios and manualy choosing the proper boot device, because its the only moment the system sees all drives.

Any theories? I dont want to RMA until its rly broken, and I need it for 3d work. I'll be glad for any asistance.

My rig
i7 5820k
gigabyte x99-ud4
some ballistix 32gb
evga gtx 780
2x 840 evo ssd
(will post details if need arise)

1| I'm not sure what you mean by slow and 3-5sec in the same line. Those are some fast numbers in it's entirety. Was your setup faster when it was first fired up?
2| Can you please state your OS?
3| The specs for your system are somewhat generic, is the Ballistix ram off of a kit or is it mixed+matched?
4| You're issue reads out as though you were working off of Windows 10 to begin with. If so did you disable automatic device driver updates?
5| Are you running a RAID array with those 2 SSD's while on Windows 10?
