Hi, i'm considering starting to mine some cryptocurrency for the sake of it. and would like to get some tips on the matter.

This is my current setup:

Corsair TX 750W PSU

Intel 3570k

3x7200 rpm hdd's

1x250 gb SSD

Asus Gtx 780 TI

what i would like to know is how much spare Watt i have left for an ekstra amd card?

Solution
Yes. A card rated no higher than 250 W should be OK, at least for awhile. But preferably aim for card with lower power consumption if possible, as power consumption is largely wasted as heat anyway.

If running the system at or near maximum of ~ 680 W total with the 250 W card installed, then the lifetime of the PSU may be reduced just a bit quicker due to heavier load (and temperature) which accelerates the aging of the PSU. But the PSU could last for quite sometime. Extra cooling may help extend the lifespan of the PSU.
Assuming no overclocking, this system will draw approximately 430 Watts. That leaves about 320 Watts spare PSU capacity.

However, due to PSU degradation due to aging, the actual spare capacity may be a bit less (maybe < 300 Watts). And it is not advisable to run PSU's at or very close to maximum capacity due to this aging.
