SSup? So, I want to upgrade my PC to be able to play the latest titles at 1600x900 at high/ultra at 60 fps and be able to record it.My current config-
MOBO- GA 78LMT S2
RAM- Transcend DDR3 1600MHz
CPU- AMD FX 6300
GPU- Sapphore HD7770
HDD- WD 1 TB Blue
PSU- Corsair 450W

Now, I am planning to upgrade to a GTX970/GTX1070/RX 480.
I know it will result in a bottleneck so what do i do? What CPU and GPU should i choose? And please tell me that in a budget cause its VERY TIGHT (25k rupees), also it'd be REALLY helpful if you could tell me the prices after the import duties or use indian online retailer- amazon.in or flipkart.com or snapdeal.com for getting it. BTW i want to play Battlefield 1.

This'd be a really huge help! Thanks!

well you don't have too many options unless you're going to get a new motherboard. i really don't think upgrading to an fx-8320/8350 is going to be worth it in the long run. won't really net you a ton of extra performance. the fx-6300 isnt a terrible CPU by any means and should do you just fine.

i know we don't have benchmarks for the rx480 yet but im willing to go out on a limb and say that it will be your best bet since it'll only be $200. your CPU will hold any of those GPUs back in a lot of games so it really wouldnt be worth spending over $200 for a new card in my opinion.

i would see how the RX 480 performs because it might be the perfect fit for your system. but in either case i would definitely get a new GPU. something like a gtx 960/1060 or r9 380/RX 480

yes i know what you're asking...and like i said...one more time here...there isn't much worth upgrading to on the platform you have now...

if you want a new CPU thats worth the money you're gonna have to get an intel core i5...and you will need a new motherboard....an fx 8350 or 8320 or whatever 8-core you can get is not going to blow your hair back...

if you want a new motherboard for an intel core i5 or i7 then you will obviously have to buy an intel CPU...

so the answer is..............for any significant upgrade you're going to have to get both the motherboard and CPU. its not one or the other. its not either/or...
