All of a sudden my videocard fan starting running at max speed. I tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling videocard, Ive used driver sweeper. I also reset the motherboard bios. I don't know whats causing this? Im think faulty temp sensor but if its that how can I fix that short of replacing the card? Thanks for any help.

Solution
Yikes, certainly seems like a bad temp probe. You'll get those as default readings when there's no data to be found but the sensor is detected. Have you done any overclocking? Overheating the card can cause the card to fry, and overvolting it can cause it to short. Dust can even short it out.
Try cleaning the card with a can of compressed air, but that's all I can say besides send it back to the manufacturer if it's still in warranty. You've done all the major troubleshooting.

Both Speedfan and MSI Afterburner are reporting temps in the negative numbers and my fans at full speed. Speedfan is reprting -128 and MSI is reporting the min and max 23459687 both same number.
