I have a gaming pc that is 4 years old:

Specs:
CPU- AMD FX(tm)-4300 Quad Core 3.80 GHz
RAM- 8 GB
GPU- GeForce GT 610
Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
HDD- Toshiba DT01ACA200
Power Supply- Allied SL-8320BTX
I am looking to get a new graphics card, I was recommended a r9 390. But I don't know what brand to go with to get the best bang for my buck. I know each brand has their flaws, like the sapphire tri-x r9 390 with a backplate has had issues with glitches. And I know with a card upgrade I need to upgrade my pcu as well. If you recommend a different card altogether, why? I could use all the opinions possible. I have never built a pc or even upgraded components. Please help.
