Upgrading CPU MB and RAM will everything stay on my PC?

Hello,

First off thank you for any help you may be able to provide me.

I am upgrading from a i5 4690k to a i7 5820k my motherboard I'm going from a Asus z97 to a Asus x99. I believe I have to reinstall Windows 10. My question is will everything else stay on my PC. All apps anti virus all of that? Will it stay on the home screen just like it is now?

You need to contact Microsoft when you change. Changing the mobo will require a reinstall and a reactivation of the Windows key. Windows activates the key based on the mobo so once that is changed you have to get the key reactivated.

A reinstall will delete everything on your pc and you will have to reinstall from scratch. Its not as bad as its made out to be.
