What is the most affordable card I can get away with for my personal needs?

Hi guys, so I'm doing a new build and need to know what GPU to get.
I am trying to save money and want a get a graphics card that will play the games I want on High Settings 1080p but not overkill, like paying for performance I'll never use.

The games I play:
Dota2/League of Legends
Diablo 3
Dark Souls 3
Grand Theft Auto 5
Overwatch
The Division
The Witcher 3

To be honest I would recommend one of the weaker Polaris GPUs (there will be weaker counterparts of the Rx 480), but those will come out later. 50 bucks for much more future-proofing and VR capability (even if neither will be immediately useful) is not too much IMHO.

I didn't mention budget just because I thought knowing the requirements I listen and games listen, as well as the "cheapest possible to run said games at 1080p high settings".

I was hoping to be sub 150. I did see that VR capable GPU announcement. Though I doubt I'll be interested in VR for a while. I was eyeballing the 960/970 gtx, as well as r9 380 4gb, but I just think they are way more powerful then I need and I could save money there.

Neither the 960 or 380 can play Witcher at high for 1080p consistently. You'll still have to turn off something here or there. The 970 can leave most of it on at 1080p, but is $280. A 480 will handle all that you have on the list easily at 1080p and will be $200.
