Hey all,

I've had numerous PC problems tonight and now we're down to this one (hopefully it stays that way).

Basically I bought an EVGA G2 supernova 750w gold PSU to replace my Corsair CX750.

It was brand new from Amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Supernova-Gold-Power-Supply/dp/B01AHRQW5W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464912760&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+g2+750w) and I installed it today. After installation I was trying to fix another PC issue (not related to PSU) and had to restart my PC a few times. Each time I restarted I would get this warning message "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. Asus Anti-Surge was triggered to protect the system from unstable power supply unit".

It worried me quite a bit so I unplugged it and reinstalled my Corsair CX750 and have not seen the message since.

Amazon are usually pretty decent at replacing things. Should I contact them and ask for a replacement?

Thanks.

Solution
There was a similar thread on Asus anti-surge already today. It could have been a loose cable. You might try it again making sure that all the cables are well seated. If that doesn't fix it, I would probably have it replaced.
