Hello everyone,Today while fiddling with my PC cpu fan to add some heatsink compound I accidentally leaned on it and it fell on it's side,Everything functions perfectly normal, except that there's no sound,It doesn't show me a red crossed speaker icon in the taskbar, all sound drivers are installed and I double checked that they are at their latest,I tried googling but I found no one else with the same problem, when checking in playback devices I can clearly see my speakers and their volume bar going up and down, but still no sound comes out no matter what I plug in the rear or front sockets.

I am somewhat experienced in fixing computers through trial and error and I fear that this may be caused by something un-repairable,such as the onboard audio on my motherboard dying.

Anyhelp you can give is greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about motherboard cables or speaker and headphone ones?

Speaker and headphone cables. (The rest of the computer is working).

All cables unplugged and replugged and double checked, still no change.

is ur audio chipset realtek???...if yes then u have to update both realtek and mobo drivers...
if u have an audio card, then check for the relevant audio settings...
also some board have audio jumpers for rear/front rerouting...check whether this has come loose...
