I've RMA my GTX 970 for the 4th time now so this time I wanted to stress test it before I accept it again. Can you recommend an easy way to stress test a GPU? My MOBO is not that good GA-970A-DS3p(1.0) so I'm skeptical to stress test the gpu really hard as it may affects the other components in my computer.

Other specs:
Processor: FX 8350
PSU- Corsair CS750m

THanks

Solution
1| Provided the GPU has ample power from the system, you can drop in the GPU onto a compatible PCI-E x16 slot.
2| Follow this guide and reinstall your GPU drivers.
3| Run Valley benchmark.

I'd be lying if I said I don't want to know why you're RMA'ing for the 4th consecutive time...? I'm speculating that the PSU is the culprit here provided you're running a 125W TDP processor on that 970 motherboard. Please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals.

Unfortunately, I'm at school today but here's the summary of my computer specs:

Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64bit
MOBO - GA970A-Ds3p(1.0)
Processor - FX-8350 Cooler: Hyper Evo212
RAM - Corsair 4GB Ram X2
PSU -Corsair CS750m (750 watts)
Hardisk - 2x Seagate HardDisk
SSD - 1x Samsung 850 evo 250GB
1 CD ROM

I have also a spare Gigabyte R9 290(that I use while waiting for the replacement) which works fine with this setup and I think it is more power consuming than the GTX 970(correct me if I'm wrong) so I don't think the issue is related to the PSU

BTW: If you want to know the story behind this.
I only bought the card last dec 2015:
Here are issues the I've encountered:
1.) Bought the card dec 2015 I noticed that at the back of the card there's some oil around it. I thought it is normal for a Nvidia GPU (this is my first nvidia GPU). After 2 weeks, it stops working so I RMA it(Initially, they don't want to replace it because according to them, an insect piss on my GPU causing it to be corroded:pt1cable:).

2.) 1st replacement lasted 2 months then stopped working for unknown reason. PC won't boot when the GPU is connected.

3.) 2nd replacement lasted 1week then suddenly a beep sound(Hardware failure?) on my pc and it wont boot again. The PC boots when I removed the GPU so that's the culprit.

4.) 3rd replacement lasted 1 day only garbage display after loading the drivers.

For the last replacement, I'm currently using it and so far it lasted 2 days now. I've already run some stress test and played some games (fallout 4, dota 2 and witcher 3).

I think this is more of a shitty distributor here in the Philippines rather than an issue with my setup
Thanks
