Trade r9 380x for rx 480?

If you can return it and get your money back, then you should. The rx 480 is meant to be better than an R9 390 (maybe even the 390x), uses far less power and is a bargain at $200 for the 4gb and around $230 for the 8gb.

i already sold mine 380x for 250$ just to get 8gb version of 480 future games will have more need of vram in 1440p look at rise of tomb raider hitting 5.6 of vram usage in ultra 1440p resolution so i definitive advise you to get 480 8gb and 5.2terra flops on new arhitecture will be for sure the power of 390-390x for the price 380x
