Hi Experts,

I have a very strange problem with my PC.

Firstly PC wont start i.e no debug led, nor MB led.
When I press the power button PC wont start immediately, the led light on the CPU cooler keeping blinking with red and white light with on-off, after like 2-3 mins, rear fan starts to spin, then after a min top fan starts to spin, then after 2 mins GPU fans start to spin and last in the end front radiator fans start to spin, Now that everything is on still there would be no post or no debug led or no MB led.

I have tried most of the options like CMOS reset, paper clip test on PSU etc.

Please help me.

My specs

i5 4690k
msi gaming 5
seasonic m12 620 watts
evga gtx 970
h100i gtx

Glad I could help! PSUs can be some of the biggest pains when building a computer. Hopefully you can get your SeaSonic replaced!

Weird... are you sure that the PSU is fine? This seems like a PSU related issue. Otherwise this might be a Mobo. No Mobo LEDs could mean a lack of power or a burnt Mobo itself. What did you test when you did the paperclip test?

Do you have the CPU power plugged in?

Hi Alec, turns out it was the PSU. When I first did the paperclip test All the components received power with fans running and led blinking. But when I did a standalone paperclip test i.e connected just a 2 fans to the PSU unit, it never received any power. But what saddens me more is that a PSU like Seasonic can also go faulty :(. I had just got it in december 2015.
For temporary purpose I am now using corsair VS 650 and have sent the Seasonic for RMA.
