I'm on Windows 7 and 10. I don't know much about iptables or routing rules, but I wonder if I can use them to accomplish my goal, which is to ensure that network traffic from Program X always goes through adapter Y. To clarify, my understanding is that Windows has some concept of a "default adapter" that all traffic will go through, in the case that multiple adapters are active. So if program X is running, it will normally go through whatever is default, and that could change over time. I want to ensure it all goes through a specific adapter, and if that adapter is not active at the present moment, then no traffic will get through at all.
