Hi there thread says it all! The cost is about the same to me for either option. My broadband /wireless is NOT an option at about 4Mbps! Can barely even launch a game using steam in home streaming across the WiFi!

Can someone describe in simple terms how to go about hooking up both options please?

I want to entirely avoid relying upon my pitiful Internet for the streaming although I am aware that both host and client PC need to be connected to the Internet, in order to use steam in home streaming! Thanks in advance!

if you internet is bad, a decent powerline adapter will get 90% of your connection, just make sure to use cat 5e. i think powerline would be worth it if you dont want to trip over cables. for wired you would get a little better performance, but at what cost, that is question.
