Hi guys I need some help about my CPU it's an FM2+ AMD A10 FX 770k unlocked processor. https://cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+FX-770K+Quad-Core&id=2438
My question is it a bottleneck for current games? I got it overclocked to 4.3ghz at the moment with an EVO cooler and the temps are hovering around 50c to 70c all the time I don't know the temps when I'm gaming. The reason I ask if it's a bottleneck is I can't find any info on this CPU online only that it got a 5000k score on CPUbenchmark.com
I have a RADEON R7 370 2GB in my system right now but going to return this card and get a R9 380x right now. I know theres good deals at my local PC store where I can get a A10 7870k for $90 bucks but that CPU got a score of 5500 only 500 more so I don't think it's worth it unless I get a different mobo and AM3+ CPU like FX 8320e for $140 together bundle?
Before someone says wait for Radeon 480 I can't they only got a 14 day return policy where I originally bought the r7 370.

Also does anyone here have any input on an Asus Sonar sound card ? I make music and use different types of programs for last 10 or so years but never really bought a sound card before just use the stock 7.1 sound that's onboard the mobo mostly.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

My current system is
AMD FM2+ A10 FX 770k unlocked
Coolermaster EVO CPU cooler
AsRock FM2A88X+ Killer Gaming Motherboard
MSI TwinFrozer R7 370 2GB
16GB DDR3 Ram
1TB HD
EVGA 600watt PSU
Corsair's SPEC 2 case
Acer 1080p monitor

Your CPU is about as good as it gets for your platform-especially since you have it overclocked. You could get better performance out of the FX series, but the cost to upgrade it isn't worth it. Most games would have similar performance. If you need better CPU performance, I think moving to Intel makes the most sense.
On the other hand, your CPU isn't a bad match for something like the 380X. It may still limit some games, but for the most part you should get pretty good performance.

I assume you mean A10 7700K? (no FX in the name)

FM2+ CPUs are pretty weak by today's standards, and will show noticeable performance loss when compared with higher-end CPUs in quite a few games today. They're in the range of what Intel was selling around 2008-2009 in terms of performance. That's not to say you can't still play and enjoy games on one though.

The 7700K's selling point is that you get a relatively good integrated GPU and an adequate CPU, for less than the price of a (faster) CPU + discrete GPU. However, you're apparently not using the integrated GPU in yours. Why did you choose a 7700K over the less expensive Athlon 860K, which is the same CPU only cheaper and with the integrated graphics disabled?

Unfortunately, there are no real upgrades for AMD's FM2+ socket, or any AMD socket for that matter. An FX-83xx adds more cores, but those cores are actually slower per clock than the cores in your A10, and most games will only utilize 2-4 cores. Both FM2+ and AM3 are end-of-life, and will not be receiving any new products, so if and when you decide to upgrade, you're going to need to move to an Intel socket. However, I don't recommend upgrading until you feel you need it. Don't take others' word for it, decide for yourself when your hardware is causing lower performance in games than is acceptable to you.

Thanks guys.
Ecky no it actually says FX 770k on this CPU and it's an FM2+ CPU which is so weird because I can only find limited information about this CPU in general that's why I was asking if anyone knows about it or not. I got this CPU for free from my brother he got it with a HP Azzure gaming computer from BestBuy last year and he just stripped it out and upgraded everything few months ago so I got this CPU. I got the motherboard for $51 dollars which is actually pretty decent it was originally $140 at microcenter but I got it on sale. I just build a pretty cheap gaming PC because I had a ton of parts laying around. I can't upgrade to Intel for another 6 months or so as I just moved states and that cost a lot of $. I can return the mother board and get FX 8320e CPU and Asus Gaming mobo for $130 total but I don't know if it's worth it that would be $80 more total.

The FX 8320e would be a sidegrade. Keep what you have, or upgrade to Intel.

Thank you guys! I'll just keep this setup and upgrade to 380x. I guess Zen will be out by the time I decide to upgrade to new mobo and cpu so hopefully there will be good competition between Intel and AMD in six months.

One last thing - AMD GPUs run worse on lower-end CPUs than do nVidia GPUs, because their DX11 drivers are much more CPU-heavy. This isn't a big deal with high-end CPUs, but you might see a significant difference. In the short-term, you're probably better off buying an NV card for this reason. I would suggest a GTX 970 or 1070, depending on your budget. The 960 is not a great value.

Ecky I got the 380x it was significantly cheaper then 970gtx my total price was $145 it was on clearance.

I forgot to mention this CPU does not have a GPU or APU build in like all the other A10s which is why I am so confused, and it seems it's not for sale by it self you had to buy this Lenovo gaming desktop did AMD make this FX 770k specifically for that desktop? It seems to Overclock really good I got it stable at 4.5ghz just now, ran all the stress tests and it's holding great at that speed. What is the best program to benchmark a cpu and see how it compares to other similar processors?

One benchmark you might try is Cinebench R15:

Intel Burn Test will also give you a score you can compare with:

Sunspider Java BenchmarkL

WebXPRT:

SuperPi MOD is an old benchmark but still has some interest:

CPU-Z has a built-in benchmark:

Handbrake can compare your video encoding performance. Here's a thread on it, again over on Anandtech:
