geforce gtx 750 ti 1 gb vs 2 gb

Solution
No but the 2GB can. I would save up for the 2GB. I own it and I've tested it on Heaven, Valley, 3DMark11, and Firestrike. You have to turn things down to get good frame rates. It's as good as it gets without a PCIe cable, and better than a lot of them with it. I don't think you'll be happy with the 1GB. It might work for someone using a HD720 TV for a monitor, then it would give good frame rates. But the 2 GB is the minimum card you want for 1080p. If you buy the 1GB you will probably be buying the 2GB later. You can't save any money doing that. Under 1080p the 2GB is a very good card, but thaty's about where it starts to run out of steam. In firestrike the 750Ti scored 37% ranking for me. The R9-285 on the same computer scored 58%...

There is exactly 1gb of difference. This is the potential maximum frame buffer size, so whether or not you notice it will have something to do with the resolution of your display and how you're using this card.

If this is for gaming on, I would suggest the 2Gb version if purchasing new.
