Hey! I'm a teenager who planned to create a gaming pc this summer. I have one problem, which is I don't know what parts to buy.

All I need from you guys are websites in which I can pick good parts which MATCHES/ARE COMPATIBLE with each other.

Custom gaming pc builds websites would also work out :D

Here are some info about my build.

1.) My budget is 900-1200 US Dollars.

2.) The games I'd like to run are CS:GO, BO3, MC, League of Legends, Dota 2, and other Steam games. (With high fps :D)

3.) I live in the Philippines (incase you need for shipping)

4.) I don't mind about the keyboard/mouse/screen. (If possible none :D)

Thanks in advance!

Build suggestion 2 the high range of your gaming budget. The I7-6700k cpu is an excellent cpu, some consider it overkill for gaming. To get an unlcocked (K) cpu, you must put in an after market cooler.

Build suggestion 3 Towards the high range, but this is what I'd build for myself, if I was making one for myself right now.
I5-6600k I5 is excellent for gaming, and is a decent all around cpu. Being a K chip, it's overclockable. The money saved on the cpu between Build 2 and 3 is put into a higher capacity SSD.

I added a 1tb HDD in each build. If you need more, change it. All three builds have a high quality full modular psu. Case decisions are personal based on aesthetics and taste. I prefer ATX midtower cases with side windows and front panel usb 3.0. They should be highly rated for their airflow. Phanteks cases are very good with their airflow. NZXT, Fractal Design, and Corsair tend to be rated highly. Pcpartpicker is an excellent website for researching and planning your build. They let you know if there are any compatibility issues with the parts. Compatibility issues might be trying to put a cpu/mobo combo that don't match, a graphics card that won't fit in a case, or will fit if you are willing to remove internal drive bays. A mismatch between a case and mobo having/not having USB 3.0 connectors. Change things as you wish, builds in the planning stage are flexible. Play with different parts, look at all the beautiful cases and decide which one you really won't mind looking at for the next five year or more. Enjoy the experience and learn.

Hey! I already found a $1200 build, but I'm not really sure if I want to use that. So I just wanna ask about your first suggestion/build, which was the $1k dollars. Will that build be enough to have a fast pc which doesn't lag if I open for example, Youtube, a game and Skype at once? And around how much fps do you think I'll get in games like BO3, Minecraft and CS:GO. I'm trying to save money too so yeah :D If that build won't work out, I'll try the $1200 I found 'cause I researched about its parts and they were very good :D

Edit: Also, correct me if I'm wrong, right there should be a fan/cooler in the $1k build? You know, so it won't overheat or anything?

That $1,000 build can handle multiple windows/apps/programs being open at once. I built a similar machine a little over a year ago for my (then 11 year old son, and my 18 year old son) and that's exactly what they'd do...open Youtube to view gameplay videos., open a game like Minecraft, and have Skype or Google Hangouts going, and that's with a H97 mobo and an I5-4460 cpu, with a GTX 970 (Here's that build). I might throw in 8 more gb ram for that pc soon, but otherwise, it does about as well as my machine which was built a year earlier with Z87 mobo, an I5-4670k cpu, and a GTX 780 gpu. And the boy's computer cost about $400 less than mine. (the pricing on the 970 and its relative value to the 780 was a real budget booster). It's amazing what a home pc builder can do these days for $1,000-,1200.

The $1,000 build with the I5-6500 does not require an after market cooler, because it comes with a stock cooler (pcpartpicker would have flagged that with giant red letters if you needed to provide a cooler). And that's what is in my boys' computer, the stock I5 cooler. If you want to spend $25-50 on an air cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO(in my computer), or a Cryorig H7 (in my wife's) you could always do that. But if you do that build you won't/can't overclock, and the stock parts and a great case with good airflow and three case fans should be fine for anything you throw at it.

One more word regarding lag, when you have multiple apps open all at once, accessing your wifi/internet bandwidth, that is sometimes the bottleneck, not the computer.

Hey Garilia!!!

I did more research on other's suggestions and I basically was choosing parts for my pc build. I was using the pcpartpicker website you sent me and I was combining some parts from your $1k build and from other's and they're all compatible, although I don't know how I'll show you the line-up. Can you tell me how and I'll show you it. :D Please say if its correct and if it'll work out as a good pc.

Any recommendations that you can give from the line-up I made will be so helpful!!

Thanks again!!! :)
