Hello enthusiasts. Today I was running Project Cars on the described GPU for a couple of hours. My CAM software was giving me notifications that it was exceeding temperatures of +80C. I have had this card for many years and will be replacing it with the 1080. Are these bad temps? If so, should I chuck it since it is decently old. I do want to pass it on to a friend of mine but if it's going to cause issues in the future then I will just get rid of it. Any advice? Thanks

Hello... 80'sC for NVidia GPU's is not extreme... over time dirt lint can accumulate in the cooling path... also thermal paste will start to dry out will need replaced... Fans can start to "wear out". A little maintenance here and continued use is viable.
