I want to upgrade my computer but i'm not sure exactly what parts I should get.I was also wondering if it's complicated to build a computer? I have an idea of how these parts work but I was wondering if there are any precautions before I start building.Or is it simple plug and play from what I heard?

These are my specs that I got from an app called Speccy

OS:Windows 10

CPU:AMD FX-4300

RAM: 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz (11-11-11-28)

Graphics: 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7600 Series (ASUStek Computer Inc)

Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CM1855 (Socket 942)

I was thinking of just upgrading my GPU or my CPU or both with Intel Core i5 4460 and for the video card I haven't decided. All i really want is just to play games with a good solid 60+ fps and high graphics mainly for Overwatch.Help is appreciated ;)

Yup, it is completely compatible with that rig.

The Graphics Card just gets removed and replaced. Easy swap to do yourself.

the R9 390 is very large, best to open your PC and take a look and see if it will physically fit inside your case. The 7600 series card will be a LOT shorter than any r9 390.
You have a long road ahead of you, but a fun and rewarding one.

CPU's are plug and play, but only for the same "socket"
Your socket is AM3+ so you can put any AM3+ CPU in there.
I wouldn't bother, no CPU available for AM3+ is going to give you a mind blowing increase. You might get some increase, but honestly not worth the effort.

Now the RAM... it should be DUAL chennel! Look inside, do you only have one stick? That is a big no-no.
We can get you a fairly large increase in performance by adding a matching stick to get it running 16GB dual-Channel.

Lastly, your biggest killer, the GPU.
Your GPU is... garbage. Sorry bud.
You could plug an R9 390 in there today and have your mind blown by the performance.
a GTX 970 would also blow you away, it doesn't have as much raw power as a 390 but it will generate a lot less heat.

If you want to switch to an i5 you would need a new motherboard.

Ok so I compared the the two GPUs that you mention and I think I just want to get the R9 390 but I'm not sure if my motherboard is compatible which is a "ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. CM1855(Socket 942)".I was also just wondering if I can just plug it in to my computer by itself since i may not get another cpu.
