Microwave brands that won't interfere with the wifi

I am having a serious issue with the wifi in my house. I have tried going in to change the setting of the wifi to 5ghz but, for some reason, I don't have that option. My router is fine otherwise, aside from the issue with the microwave.

Every time I turn on the microwave, it cuts out the wifi, I mean, freezes everything I am doing, forces a shutdown of the internet and I loose everything. I was in the middle of filling out an online application and I lost it because of the microwave. I have tried moving the wifi around the house so that everyone can get access. I have also tried moving the microwave as well. The router needs to stay where it is, the whole house is covered, but the microwave either needs to be changed or moved...and I have already tried moving it.

I have the exact same brand as the first one I got, because it lasted a long time. I didn't have this issue before. With this wifi cutting out, I need to change it. I have someone that could use the microwave so it's not like I would be throwing a perfectly good one out. But I need a brand of microwave that will run at 5ghz or anything higher than the 2.4ghz wave that the wifi runs on. I have tried looking on other forums and sites to see if people have had issues or no issues with some brands and so far, the consensus is that Panasonic and Whirlpool are the main culprits that people are having an issue with. Mine isn't a panasonic but it is giving me an issue.

So, in short, I am looking for brands that won't interfere with the wifi and that are possibly at the 5ghz range or anything that isn't on the same wave as the wifi.

Hi
Just a couple of points.
The two main culprits for microwave interference is using an ungrounded microwave so that the case shielding does not work correctly and the door not sealing to the body correctly.
So it may be worth your while before you replace it by checking that it is plugged in with a 3 pin plug into a grounded socket and that you check the door when it is shut is making a good seal to the main body of the microwave ,this can be checked by putting a sheet of paper into the four sides and shutting the door and see if you can pull it out.
Or you could get one of these to run around the casing to find the source of the leakage ; http://

Unfortunately consumer microwave cooking ovens operate only at 2.4ghz. There are others that operate at different frequencies, but they are used for purposes other than as consumer cooking appliances.

All microwave ovens emit a small amount of microwave energy that will affect wifi to some degree, but yours may be emitting an excessive amount due to poor quality construction. All must meet safe emission standards, so I'm not sure you will find a good recommendation on which brands are better than others at not interfering with wifi.

You didn't mention the make and model of your router, but it could be that it is not 5ghz capable. You might look into purchasing a new one that is, but remember that computers and devices must also be 5ghz capable to take advantage of that frequency.
