Solution
The mobo takes a total of 8GB in a 2x4GB set, so you need 2x4GB, won't run an 8GB stick. Also will want older DRAM as it's an 1156 mobo, todays DDR3 is made with high density memory ICs and has been since 2011, look for 2x4GB of GSkill's NT series of value DRAM which uses low density ICs
