i5 6600K should handle small games. I played and completed Witcher 2 on medium / low settings with no issues. Its your call on the SSD.

Lot of answers already while I was working with your build. There is no reason to get DDR3. This Gigabyte MB has an additional PCIe x4 slot for future expansion, e.g. NVMe SSD, USB 3.1, etc.

You may be fine with an i3 6100. It depends on what you will use it for. A small SSD is nice for quick boot-ups. Further upgrades of the MB would add M.2, USB 3.1, upgraded sound.

Thank you very much for the build. I edited it and was wondering what you think.

Also does the power supply's cpu connector match the amount of pins the mobo has on it?

The Kingston SSD is not so great. I would upgrade to the Sandisk X400. I would try to get at least a tier 3 PSU from the link below.

Here is what i have so far

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/bkpxFd

but I was wondering since I already have the case, i can subtract 40 from the total. Cant the pc be around 400 and not 450 similar to the first build I showed you. Also is the SSD really needed i mean in my current build i am not using one but the boot up time is like 30 seconds. I am planning on buying a SSD but I am trying to figure out how I can migrate windows to the SSD and boot up from there but i'll look it up later. Anyways the PC does look good so far but is ddr4 really that much better compared to DDR3 RAM.

Here's another option.

Sure, you can always add an SSD later. DDR4 is not really that much better but Intel Skylake was formulated with DDR4 in mind. Only a few Skylake motherboards will even take DDR3 RAM. The cost is about the same. There is just no reason to make a Skylake build with DDR3.
