Hey peeps!

I've probably read hundreds and hundreds of forums on how to fix this issue. But I just gave up.

Im a console gamer (no hate), and I decided to upgrade my sound system. I bought myself a HYPER CLOUD CORE HEADSET. and a ASUS Xonar U3 USB Soundcard.

Here comes the tricky party:

I can plug the headset to the DS without any problems. There wont be any intereferance on my mic at all. But as soon as I put the USB Soundcard on the PS4, and hook my HS to it I get the buzzing noise whenever I speak i party chat.

I've tried installing all driver on the soundcard multiple times. I know for a fact that the USB Sound Card works on the PS4(Several friends have the same setup). Ive tried lowering the mic volume on the PS4 but the buzzing sound is still there.

I've used around 150$ for this setup and it sucks that I cant use the USB soundcard without annoying the shit out of my friends when I play with them online.

So the question is. What can I do? Is it the USB's fault, the Headset? My PS4?

I've tried using the TV in the living room. And the same problem persists. Ive even tried multiple PC and the problem is still there.

I really dont wanna return the Soundcard because the sound is AMAZING. So any tips would be highly appreciated.

GG!

Hello!

Wait I'm a bit confused?

Maybe I didn't read it all properly, did you plug your Headset into the DAC or the Headset into the PS4.

Is it a USB Headset? I think you mentioned that the Headset Mic worked with other PC's and that your friends are running the same setup.

If so then it's likely the DAC. There are no Drivers on the PS4 so it's likely the DAC's fault. Although you can apparently plug the Mic into the controller.

Try seeing if that fixes the issue, with a cheap Headset Mic there should be no noticeable Audio degradation.

Hi! it's not a USB headset it's got the jack for audio and mic. I bought a USB sound card that I plug into the ps4 and then connect my headset thru the USB sound card.

I'm starting to think it might be the DAC. so imma try another headset and see if the problem is still there. if not I'll return the DAC; and try a new one.

Yo again! Before I return the DAC back to the manufacturer. Do you think that since I dont have a "grounded" conection in my room, that maybe that's what making all the noise? Because Ive tried all the headsets I could find and they all make that bzzz sound when I plug it on the USB DAC on my PS4. What realy sucks is that the front of the PS4 where the USB entrances are have like a plastic thing around em, so I cant connect the USB directly to the PS4, I have to use an extension, and I dont know if thats what's causing the interferance.
