Ram compatibility gaming pc

I have a gaming pc with a motherboard z87-g45 gaming msi and a i7 4770k 3.5ghz, I need to buy new memories cuz mines are done living, I wanted to know if the g skill 2400 16 gb will be compatible or no, and as dissipation I have a noctua nh-d14 since is a really big dissipator I want to know if they fit in

G.Skill make a lot of ram's in varying sizes and colors as well, which one are you talking about? If we were to leave the heatsinks of the ram's aside then yes the 2400MHz frequency's will work on your board but you're going to have to input the frequency and latencies manually in BIOS while you're naturally going to see an overclock on your system. It is to be noted though that the sweet spot for Haswell is DDR3 2133MHz though that may be partly true since the prices back when this article was published were crazy insane.

Klevv have DDR2133MHz kits in the Fit and Neo range. Might be worth checking out. At this moment of time DDR3 with high frequency's are being sold off for dirt cheap prices ;)
