I'm not sure if I have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
or the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
When I look in the device manager it says I have both, however when I open dxdiag and look under the displays tab it only shows the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600. Furthermore I had the NVIDIA software installed on my computer so I'm not sure about this whole situation :c

Solution
Make sure you have the cable plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard. Then install the drivers. The mobo will automatically disable the integrated GPU if you plug into the GPU.

You have both. The Intel HD Graphics is built into your Intel processor, and is used for the onboard graphics built into your motherboard. As for the DxDiag results, make sure you have the cable plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard.
If this is a laptop, then it is normal for the Intel graphics to be used until an application that requires more horsepower runs, then iit automatically switches to the Nvidia card.

On a desktop, no.
On a laptop, the answer is more fuzzy. It's up to the manufacturer and how it handles the transfer from one GPU to the other. You can make a system restore point and have your recovery disk handy (if you don't have one you should) and then disable it. Reboot and see what happens. If you get no display after BIOS, reboot to recovery and restore to the point you made.
