Hey guys,
So I have this problem with my PC where it just stopped working which really ruined my birthday. It was working fine in the morning but when I got back this happened. I turned it on, got 1 long beep and 2 short ones. The graphics card fan also sounded like it was running at 100% and wasn't getting any display on my monitor. I looked up the manual for my Motherboard(Gigabyte H97M-HD3) and found out that those beeps state a memory error. I have tried removing and reseating the ram stick, cleaning it and putting it into another slot with no success. But I also do not understand why my Gpu fan was at 100%. I also tried plugging my moniter cable into the motherboard instead and there was a display. I then went into bios and disabled the integrated graphics and then it stopped working. I'm out of ideas and do not know what to do. Been all over the web and haven't found a solution. Hopefully my ram isn't dead because like I said it booted fine on the integrated graphics until I disabled it. Maybe it will fix its self in the morning but who knows. Thanks for the help :)

Regards,
Krstan

Your GPU is probably toast. 1 long beep and 2 short means graphics aren't working at all. You obviously read the manual wrong, because on their website it means it's a graphics error. Power surge? But it does sound like the GPU is toast considering the fans are running at 100%.
