Hey guys, before beginning i'd like to point out that i don't have very wide knowledge/experience in therms of "Assembling a pc from 0" so, it can be possible that i may have skipped some part of the process.

So i assembled this pc for a friend of mine who asked a decent pc for a fairly restricted budget but after all the components has been put in place and it came the moment of the first boot the pc started to give me random and constant BSOD while installing win 10 and i never got past 11-15% without getting error such as:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP

And so on, every time a different bsod.
I dont know what's wrong with this but it's driving me crazy.

PC SPECS:
Motherboard:
AsRock FM2A68M-DG3+
CPU:
AMD Athlon X4 860K @3.7ghz (AD860KXBJABOX)
GPU:
Nvidia GeForce 660 GTX
RAM:
G.Skill DDR3 4gb (F312800CL9D-4GBNQ)
PSU:
iTek Desert Plus 700w

Solution
G.Skill DDR3 4gb (F312800CL9D-4GBNQ)
This memory has an SPD of 1333MHz. Which means it will run at that speed when first installed.

Supported Memory speed for AMD Athlon X4 860K is DDR3-2133.

Looking at page 41 of the manual there is a setting for DRAM Frequency. There is no mention of XMP settings, I guessing being an "uncostly FM2+ solution", that it doesn't come with that feature. You may have to manually set DRAM Frequency, DRAM Timings and DRAM Voltage. Since you have purchased too slow a speed memory, you may have difficulty installing Windows 10. If you get it running at 1600MHz you may be able to install Windows 10, however 1600MHz is still going to give a performance hit from 2133MHz memory.

Nop the hard drive was factory new, unpacked it the same day i assembled my pc

I ran again the windows setup and recreated the partition, the first time the installation froze at 6% so i restarted and re created the partition once again, seemed to work for a bit but then got another BSOD at 16%:

DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL (which, to be sincere, i never encountered before)

So, since the third time is the charm, i ran the whole things again, recreated the partition aaaand.... got a BSOD at 15% with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL *sob*

Oh, mmm no, i doubt it since i already tried using different installation disks, from windows 7 to the technical preview of win 10, all of them gave me bluescreens before or after i began the installation.
About the ram, yes, they're all seated all they way down in the slot, i also tried swapping them but without succeed.

In any case last time the "DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL" BSOD got me thinking about... aaa possible driver issue? So far i haven't installed a single one of them soo, it might be because of that?
Also, dumb question, does the motherboard itself require some specific drivers?

its rare to need drivers before windows install, only in the case of installing to a raid setup or running some really abnormal hardware, is the most common case. basic drivers are installed automatically during windows setup I don't know windows 10 does it but windows 7 does hardware detection and setup after the file copy closer to the end (your pc will have rebooted at least once before it gets to that point).. and yes I have windows 10 but it doesn't display when its was detecting hardware during its setup so I d k when it does it.

other question how did you get bluescreen before installation? do u mean when it was loading the install software as the bios cannot blue screen.

Yes, when it was loading the windows setup, got bluescreen with both win 7 and win 10 installation disks, the only one that goes further the loading screen it's the technical preview of win 10- which is odd-

Sorry for the late answer but i've been busy with family

reset the BIOS to defaults, update it and run memtest86 to confirm the ram timings are correct.

otherwise copy the memory dumps from c:\windows\minidump directory to a cloud server like microsoft one drive, share the files for guest access and post a link.

Soo, i raised frequency from 1333mhz to 1600mhz, also i enable the xmp function which was set on 'disabled' and surprisingly enought the issue was only frequency related, installed windows 10 without any issue/BSOD.
Thanks a lot for your support, really helped sorting things out!
