Will the Corsair VS650 or Antec VP650 be alright for the following system config?

So I'm planning the following build, am cutting corners to save money, cant cut corners in the CPU and GPU department though because I'm going to use this rig for rendering, and video editing (Heavy video editing with a lot of GPU intensive effects)

1 Chassis Thermaltake NS21
2 PSU Antec VP650
3 Motherboard Asrock x99
4 CPU Intel i7 5930K
5 CPU Cooler Noctua DH15s
6 GPU Nvidia GTX 1070
7 RAM Gskill 2x8 GB
8 SSD Sandisk Extreme
9 HDD Seagate Barracuda 2TB
10 ODD LG DVD
11 Case Fans Cooler Master x3

So one corner I cut was the PSU which is 50% cheaper than one I was looking at earlier, I know it will be able to power the system with ease, though I dont know how reliable the two options are, One is Antec VP650 (Included in the list) the other option is the Corsair VS650. Will these be able to allow for some modest overclocking on the CPU front or no? Also since the system is going to be used for rendering 3D will they be able to reliably provide power over long sessions?

Should I look towards getting a Seasonic Bronze 650 watt supply instead? Its not officially available in my country (india) but I have sources I can get them from (might not have avalid warranty though) Thanks for the help :)

Solution
Go with Corsair RM750X it is great quality PSU and can overclock with no problem. It is ₹10,000 and even with that the build can be done within your budget

Also one thing I had figured out a long time ago but have forgotten since, does a psu with 2 12v rails with 30A on each rail mean that I effectively have 60A on 12V rail system? or does it mean I still have 30A but that it is ditributed across 2 rails.

In effect if I wanted to add a gpu that recommends say 40A on a 12V rail would it be impossible to add it to a dual 12v rail system of 30A each?

Do you need monitor, keyboard?

Hi Alan, thanks for the reply. I have a couple of problems with the config you mentioned.
1) It doesnt include a GPU, I need a high end GPU because I use after effects alot particularly Element 3D which is completely GPU dependent.
2) The 5820K is a 15% reduction in real world performance in programs like VRAY and for my work every percent matters, though a 5960x would be the best I'll have to settle for a 5930K, though I'll probably wait for the 6800k which has way better performance than the 5930k for the same price of a 5820k.
3) I chose the Noctua d15 because even in load temps for the 4790k in tests stayed at around 58 as compared to 70 for the hyper 212. The lower temps just might mean longevity.

Also so you do feel that the seasonic is a better PSU? and I'm reposting my other question here :p can a PSU with 2 12v rails at 30A each be compared to a single 12v rail of 60A? or it doesnt work like that?

Hi again the 6700k does not work for me as its only 4 core, I need to render using vray and would prefer having a 6 core machine, so as to have a device that can last me a couple of years at the least. The 6700K is quite a bit slower than the 5930k when it comes to 3d rendering. and for me every second counts as i render sequences not just static images.

Dude look i'm not looking to buy as of now, Even I know shops that I can get from for cheaper. They are all located in Nehru place. It seems to me that youre trying to push me your service without even realising my requirements and not helping answer the initial question i posted.

Please read what I have posted in the first post.

Stop spamming your services and try to genuinely think and post. If you cant answer my opening question then please dont reply.

I said if you like I could give it to you for lower price that's all I never wanted to push you into taking my services and will never do so. :)

And the build should do fine or even great please do check it.

Also let me help me reduce the cost of the above:
Instead of the corsair you could get the Noctua D15 which is cooler and cheaper at 6500 Rs. from PrimeABGB
You could get the Asrock x99 MOBO for 15,000 rs, which has less pci ports but unless youre planning on going fullscale sli or adding a pci ssd card it wouldnt matter.
Getting a thermaltake versa n21 will cut another 4000 rs and has a clearance of 360mm for the gpu
you could shave another 3000 rs and get a seasonic 650 watt psu instead which is enough to power this rig.

What I'm asking is whether the antecs twin 12v rails of 30a each are enough to power the 1080 which specified a rail requirement of 34a on (i suppose) a single 12v rail.

I'm telling you it wont after going through several benchmarks, the 5820k (im assuming th i5 was a mistake) rendered using vray in 3:47 seconds on avg. and the 5930K rendered the same in 2:47. A minutes difference. When I'm rendering a sequence of say 500 frames the 1 minute difference would add upto alot.

Its actually not of the D15 but the D15s, the D15s has one fan missing, but that one fan causes little to no change in actual performance. The D15 is for 8500 (2000 rs for a fan that does nothing, these guys put apple to shame)
Corsairs for 8200 on PrimeABGB (the site i checked noctua on).

LOL I will. But thats not the point, the point is that I never asked for system configurations, I already had one in mind. All I wanted to know was whether the PSUs I mentioned will be good enough to power the system reliably or not.
