nvidia gt 610 in p7?

so my old gaming pc finally quit and I'm using a really bad pavillion71235 and I was wondering if I could install a gt610 1gb and actually get the pc to start it is pcix16 so it should work but I cant really find any articles on it if someone could help the psu 300 watts on my pc and I think the total TDP is around 100 watts so help would be much appreciated

The 610 uses next to no power, only 19 Watts (from memory). You should be fine.

It'll pretty much just slide right in. It doesn't even need any power from the PSU, it's powered through the motherboard.
All the GT 610 models use roughly the same power.
